5 Things to Check Before Choosing a Custom TFT LCD Display
A display can have the right size, resolution and price — and still be wrong for your product.
The problem often appears during integration, when the LCD must fit the PCB, enclosure and actual operating environment.
Before requesting a custom display quotation, here are five details worth checking.
01 | Mechanical Fit
The same screen size doesn’t always mean the same dimensions.
Check the outline dimensions, active area, thickness and available installation space.
A small mismatch can affect the PCB or enclosure design.
02 | Interface Compatibility
A suitable resolution doesn’t guarantee a compatible connection.
Confirm the interface type, driver IC, connector and power requirements.
SPI, RGB and MIPI displays have different integration requirements.
